Melbourne party boy Corey Worthington looks set to enjoy another fresh hit of fame after landing a role in a Hollywood movie.

US producers have signed up the 18-year-old to appear in the upcoming movie Life in the Fastlane, the Sun Herald reports.

Worthington first came to public attention in 2008 when a party he threw while his parents were on holidays attracted 500 destructive guests and the local police.

The cheeky teenager then notoriously refused demands by A Current Affair to apologise on air for the damage caused.

Worthington, who also appeared on Big Brother, will play a teenage petrol station attendant who is under house arrest.

"I'm really excited about this," Worthington told the newspaper.

"It's a great opportunity for me. I've always wanted to go to America and what a way to go."

The movie will start filming later this year and be directed and written by Gene Mottola, brother of music executive Tommy Mottola.
